gabby_silang comes the rules of our first (perhaps the first? unlikely but inspiring) co-modded ficathon. Do participate, or I will send Blythe after you. Ah, but who is Blythe, you ask... indeed, my friends, indeed.There are all sorts of ficathons in the world. Character-driven. Fandom-specific. Pairing-specific. This isn't those ficathons. We don't care what characters you use. We don't care what fandom you write in. We don't give a donkey's butt which pairings you like. This ficathon has one, bright, shining idea that holds it all together: laser-induced nudity.
Defabricator. dee-FAB-ruh-KAY-tor. Noun. (1)A machine which emitts a beam that zaps all your clothes off.
I see this, right? And I says to
shadesofbrixton, I says, "that should be in every show!" And then we come to, "Ficathon!" At this point it should be noted that this is as much her fault as it is mine and that of both Captain Jack Harkness and the BBC.Every story written for this ficathon must include the use of the Defabricator. That's about it. This is multi-fandom, so while the idea originates in Doctor Who, you need not write about, or even be familiar with, that show. Fandoms you'll write for: NewsRadio, X-Men Movieverse, DCU (mainly speedsters and Young Justice/current Teen Titans, but willing to give most well-known characters a go), Ultimate X-Men, Ultimate Spider-Man, Y: The Last Man, Transmetropolitan, Justice League, Farscape, Six Feet Under. Could write Good Omens, BtVS/AtS, and X-Files in a pinch.
